The Ultrasound section in the Radiology Department is a section that focuses on the use and study of Ultrasonography.The term Ultrasound on its most basic level merely represents sound waves with a frequency higher than 20 kHz, which is the highest range that the average human can hear.

Through the use of advanced ultrasonographic equipment we are able harness these high frequency sound waves to produce realtively high resolution images of the human body. These images can range from soft tissues, to deeper scans of organ regions.
